Natural Factors HerbalFactors Valerian Root Extract is a traditional herbal sleep aid that helps promote sleep and relieve nervousness and restlessness. Each capsule provides 300 mg of a 4:1 valerian root extract, equivalent to 1200 mg of dried root and standardized to 0.8% valerenic acids.

Medicinal ingredient (per capsule): Valerian 4:1 extract (Valeriana officinalis, root) 300 mg, standardized to 0.8% valerenic acids and equivalent to 1200 mg dried root.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Rice powder, gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), vegetable-grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica.
Contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or sweeteners; no dairy, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, salt, tree nuts, or GMOs.
Recommended adult dose: Take 1–2 capsules daily, 30 minutes to 1 hour before bedtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Warnings
Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia), or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption with alcohol, other drugs, or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Some people may experience drowsiness; exercise caution within 2 hours of consumption when operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or participating in activities requiring mental alertness. Keep out of reach of children.
