Ingredients
Each vegetarian capsule contains melatonin 3 mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: rice flour and hypromellose capsule with water.
Directions
Adults: Take 1–3 capsules once daily at or before bedtime. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. Do not drive or operate machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
Warnings
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Use with alcohol or other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you take anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, blood-pressure medication, immunosuppressants, sedatives, hypnotics, psychotropic medications or steroids. Consult before use if you have asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, a hormonal or immune-system disorder, liver disease, migraine or a seizure disorder. Consult if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms or rare allergic reactions may occur; discontinue use if an allergy occurs.
